'The Level’ is Brighton's busiest central park owned by Brighton & Hove City Council. The focal point of the transformation of the park is the environmentally renovated ‘The Level Café’. Run by a team of local entrepreneurs, it occupies a highly visible position at the heart of the park. The roof of ‘The Level Café’ is being renovated with a HERTALAN® EPDM roofing system.

Eight hertalan easy cover pre-formed made to measure sheets were used on the main roofing area where a green roof was to be overlaid. hertalan easy cover offers ecological compatibility, long life span, root penetration resistance and a quick installation. The use of large pre-fabricated EPDM sheets greatly reduced the necessity for on-site jointing, ensuring that the whole roof area was quickly waterproofed. The factory bonds on a made to measure sheet are root resistant, is easy to fit and labour saving.
